What we collect

This site does not ask you to create an account, does not run a newsletter and does not collect your name, email address or phone number. We have no login and no comment section.

Our hosting provider records standard server logs, which may include your IP address, browser type and the pages you requested. These are used to keep the site running and to understand roughly how many people visit.

Affiliate links

Links to sellers carry a tracking parameter that tells the seller which page sent you. This lets us see which articles lead to purchases. It does not tell us who you are. Once you click through, you are on the seller's website and their privacy policy applies, not ours.

Analytics

We use a third party analytics tool, Ratoeira, to see how many people visit the site, which pages they read and roughly where the traffic comes from. This is aggregate reporting: it tells us that an article was read, not who read it. We do not use it to build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share the data.

If you prefer not to be counted, browser extensions that block third party scripts will stop it, and the site works normally without it.

Cookies

We do not set advertising cookies of our own. The analytics tool described above may set a cookie or store an identifier in your browser in order to avoid counting the same visitor twice. Third party sites you visit through our links may set their own cookies, which is outside our control.

Fonts

Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when you open a page. Google may log that request. If you prefer to avoid this, browser extensions that block third party requests will stop it, and the site remains readable.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data that identifies you, there is generally nothing for us to correct or delete. If you believe we hold information about you and want it removed, contact us through the about page.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
